Dolphin Cove-VW68
Welcome to Dolphin Cove! There are beds for 24 people in this courtyard retreat home, with a private pool. As you enter the two-level screened porch you will be able to spread out in the ten bedrooms, with four separate entrances that are all connected within the screened porch. You can make the sleeping arrangements the best for your group! On the gulf side of the porch and courtyard are two masters with king size beds and private baths. A living area with a TV separates the two. Upstairs, you will find a king in one room, and two twin bunks in the other. On the laguna side, the living, dining, and chef's kitchen encompass the whole first floor. The kitchen has 2 microwaves, 2 ovens and an 8 burner stove, with everything you need to cook your meals. Upstairs, find another king bed and a twin/queen bunk. The carriage houses over the garage contain two queens, two twins, and a twin over queen bunk. You will find free high speed wireless internet and TV's in every room. Two sets of washers and dryers are available for your convenience. Nothing beats a dip in the pool, enjoying morning coffee on the patio or evenings around the fire pit overlooking the lovely neighborhood lighted walkway. This is a pet friendly rental. Pet fees are an additional $75/pet, per stay. A maximum of 2 pets are allowed.
If you want to join the neighbors, feel free to walk just a few feet to one of the two heated/cooled community pools.
NEW ADD ON: One NEMA 14-50 50 amp 240V receptacle for portable EV charging is available free of charge for guests. Guests must bring their own portable charging cords
This neighborhood is close to it all!
**3 minutes from miles and miles of Sandy Beaches for walking, biking, jogging, building sand castle, horseshoes, shelling, and the best sun bathing you can find. Also available nearby are beach rentals for surfing, sailboarding, jet skiing, and so many other ways to have fun . . . . . OR, just lay on the beach and relax!!
**2 minutes from brand new Newport Dunes Arnold Palmer Links course on the Gulf
**5 minutes from the grocery store and all downtown boutiques and you are able to shop 'till you drop
The neighborhood is also right on the 11th street trolley route to take you around town in yet another fun way to get around!
Before traveling to Port Aransas/Village Walk please plan the correct number of vehicles you drive in accordance to the rules below:
1) VW68 provides 8 paved parking spaces. If you rent a golf cart, that will count as a vehicle.
2) Parking Tags will be provided by New Wave Vacation Rentals.
3) No Street Parking, No Parking in Red Zones, and No Parking in other Village Walk Driveways
4) No Boats, Trailers, Buses, RV’s allowed in Village Walk
5) Towing will be strictly enforced

We had the best vacation ever!! The Dolphin Cove was the perfect house, perfect location, and the perfect layout. After spending the day at the beach, we came back to the house and started grilling the meat while the kids were swimming in our private pool. Golf carts were awesome and so fun!!

This place was super spacious and was very accommodating to my family of 20. Everyone had their own room, and the large kitchen/ dining allowed all of us to eat together. Also loved the screened in breezeway and private pool! We plan to book this place again next summer!

My wife & I and a close group of friends decided to celebrate hers and another’s 40th birthdays in Port A where we’d all spent plenty of weekends over the years together. Bridget was always very quick to reply to my chats through the VBRO app. On our first evening, one of the rooms above the garage was not cooling. After hours maintenance was quick to come out and bring a portable window unit to get us through the night. The very next day, it was fixed and the room was much more comfortable for our guests in that room. The stay was amazing and the house was just the right touch to top it all off.

We rent this house every time we host large groups in Port Aransas! It's large enough for everyone to have privacy, and has great community spaces when it's time to gather. This time, we took advantage of New Wave's offer to deliver & pick up our golf cart rentals which was very convenient. The New Wave staff is AMAZING and the property is always extremely clean.

The house is really well set up for privacy for multiple families. Plenty of bathrooms and little pods of bedrooms. Only downside is it may be a tight fit for the 8 parking spots listed. I think 5-6 may be the practical limit.

Overall great time and house is great for hosting a big group of people. House is showing some wear and tear and had some little issues. Management Company was great is responding and overall Management Company made a great experience and were very flexible and really a better experience then another Management Company we dealt with on another house we rented.

We had 4 different families staying together and the design of the home was perfect! The bedroom/bathroom layout suited everyone. The kitchen and dining room are the best feature of the home! We were all able to make meals & eat together In a spacious environment. We absolutely loved the private pool! We were able to swim and cool off in the evenings. There were a few minor things in the kitchen that needed updated (rugs) and the cabinets/drawers needed reorganized. Only one other thing—maybe some command hooks in the 2 twin bedroom upstairs—there was really no dresser/closet or space to put up clothes.

We loved our property and it fit our families needs perfectly. Our four kids, their spouses and our 13 grandchildren each had a bed and the number of beds fit our various family members perfectly (5 couples w 13 grandchildren ranging in age & gender). The property managers were very responsive. We found the mattresses to be comfy as well. There were a few minor repairs needed, but it didn't affect our stay at all. We already want to come back!

Dolphin Cove was the perfect beach house for our July 2023 family reunion. The house had a big kitchen and plenty of seating which helped helped during preparation and serving. All the kids and adults enjoyed the day at the beach and the evenings swimming in our own private pool. Some played ping pong in the garage. The layout was perfect and housed 18 of us comfortably. We’ll definitely be back.
